Australia was awesome! I got back last week, but have been trying to recuperate from all the flying and catching up on all sorts of things around the office. It was almost 11 years to the day that I was last there and it was so nice going back. I met up with some retired 'skippers' that I had jumped with the last time I was there and caught up on what we had all been doing over the years. I spent almost the entire 2 weeks hanging out with Belinda, a former skipper and she was pretty much my tour guide/travel agent around the area. We spent the first couple days in downtown Sydney sightseeing (we did something called the bridge climb which was rather cool) and I also have begun shooting footage for a performance video that will hopefully include clips from a few different countries. *quick side note* I wanted to jump on my unicycle in front of Opera house, but they don't let you ride bikes or anything near it. So I quickly set up my camera and jumped up all the steps and did some tricks on the landing area before security came and kicked me out.
After a couple days of enjoying the hustle of a busy harbor town we headed out to the country, and I mean the country. I caught up with the Bannermans (former coaches of the team I knew and now teachers in the middle of nowhere, they also currently have a small team at their school) and stayed at their farm for a couple days. I wanted to get a picture of a kangaroo in the wild so we went hunting for them, we had one jump down a road past us then a day later I rode through a bunch of fields on the back of a truck (or ute as they call them) looking for more, it was really fun. I spent a day at their school performing and teaching some of their students before heading back into the Sydney area. Obviously a whole lot more happened than this, but I don't want to bore you. The neat thing is that I will be going back in August to do a number of schools in Sydney and back out in the country. I will also be trying to see if I can get out to Ayers rock and get some film of me riding my unicycle on it, we'll see. That's about it, I had a great time and the people there were so nice. I took a ton of pictures and I've posted a few below. I can't wait to go back!

This sign didn't help me much
